Hey everyone, it’s me, Mandy! I’m 20 years old and a Buck County resident in good ol’ Warminster. I’m a junior at Temple University majoring in PR and minoring in Business but I’ve had an interest in film and theater since high school. Reel Philadelphia seems like a great opportunity to share my interest in film and communicate with readers about the movie that everyone loves or hates: good movies, bad movies, or movies that are so awesomely bad they are good. The most important thing for me is just to have fun with it! As for more about me here are some random facts:
- I have a very eclectic taste in music and I’m always open to new suggestions (same goes with movies!).
- My favorite thing to do is to rent a couple good movies on a rainy day and just curl up and have myself a little movie marathon.
- Speaking of rainy days… I absolutely love the smell of rain.
- I am very easily amused and entertained which often comes in handy.
- I usually remember the weirdest and least consequential details about something. On that note … Yay for random factoids!
- My secret love is pop-up videos (see above comment).
- I almost always watch all the commentaries, featurettes, deleted scenes and alternative endings on a DVD.
- I always put on subtitles or closed captioning on movies and TV shows when I watch them by myself.
- I love Preston and Steve on WMMR. They’re so office!
Hmm that’s really all the most important stuff isn’t it?
